Holy Spirit 13- The Work of the Holy Spirit in the Church and the World

Let me say prestissimo that this list is not exhaustive. But I know that you will be blessed.

John  16:8-11 says that  And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Before a person can be born again, the Holy Spirit has to convict him/her of sin. The Holy Spirit is also convicting the world at large of sin especially the sin of neglecting salvation and when a territory is turning massively away from the Truth, He stirs up men to pray and also to warn them less His judgement will come on them.

He convicts the world that the Devil is JUDGED. The Devil is now a prince with no territory except the ones humans give to him. His end is determined already. He's gonna wind up in THE LAKE OF FIRE together with all that follows him. The Devil is defeated. I like to shout it for all to hear. Even though he still retain his dunamis, he has been stripped off his exousia. He is an illegal occupants on the earth. GIVE NO PLACE TO THE DEVIL.

The Holy Spirit through the Church is resisting the spirit of the Antichrist in the world. 2Thess.2:17. So, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR DARKNESS TO COMPLETELY TAKE OVER. Where iniquity abounds, GRACE ABOUND MUCH MORE. Halleloyah.

He is the Administrator of the Will of God on the earth and in the Church. He has to make sure that the kingdom of this world becomes the Kingdom of Our God and of His Christ. Rev.11:15

He has to recruit THE BRIDE OF CHRIST from the Church.
From Mt. 25, it is clear that not EVERY BELIEVER will become the Bride of Christ. It is those with the EXTRA OIL- a symbol of the Spirit. Hmm. Many pastors have not preached this truth.

We have established yesterday that the 7 Spirits of God describe the 7 fold distinct manifestation of the Holy Spirit and it also describes the perfection of the Spirit of God. Holy Spirit 8- The symbol of Oil

1 Sam.16:13, Is.61:1,PS.23:5,92:10. The Oil typifies ANOINTING UPON & WITHIN A PERSON. It's an empowerment for God's Service. In the old testament, the anointing comes only on THE PRIESTS, KINGS AND PROPHETS to perform spiritual tasks. The rule hasn't changed now just THAT ALL BELIEVERS have been brought in. The anointing is NOT THAT oil you carry about in the bottle. One man of God in Nigeria once said 'THE ANOINTING IS THE HOLY SPIRIT IN A BOTTLE'. That statement is completely heretical. To appreciate the Oil Dimension of the Holy Spirit, let's look at d making of the HOLY ANOINTING OIL in old testament.
