THE DEATH ISSUE
I welcome you to these broadcasts in the name of Jesus. It will continue for at least 20 more days. Do your best to read, study and share every single one of them. Before we look into the weapons of Defense, we need to lay some foundations. Just follow me on this journey.
THE DEATH PALAVA
Death has become the most dreadful enemy of humanity. The pains, sorrows and untold hardship that have befallen many as a result of death are unquantifiable. The question is 'can a good God create a bad thing like death'? What is the origin of death?
THE ORIGIN OF DEATH
I like you to know that death was NEVER part of the original equation. God didn't create human beings to die. Death has its foncet origo in the rebellion of the Devil. Is. 14:12, Eze. 28:12. When the Devil and one-third of the angelic host rebelled with him, they all died (spiritually, lost their authority and body). Hell was created as their domicile. But, the Devil, in the same spirit of rebellion got man that was created much later on his side against God by making man to eat of the forbidden fruit; the tree of knowledge of God and evil. Gen. 3. This act of rebellion is SIN. So, death is the ultimate consequence of SIN. ROM.3:23, 5:12
WHAT IS DEATH?
Death is an alienation from the Life and consciousness of God.
It is an existence and a life different from the life of God. It is a life immersed in perishing and corruption; a life motivated by SELF void of eternal purpose. It was injected into man at the fall. It limits the pursuit of man to things under the sun. It is the system that control everything under the sun. It is THE LIFE (VENOM) OF THE DEVIL, THE OLD SERPENT, THE DRAGON. He drags everything on to the place of destruction.
From the above definitions, it is crystal clear that death is not first of all a physical phenomenon but a spiritual one.
SIN is the cause of death. ROM. 3:23 Death became the opposite of the LIFE OF GOD -ZOE. Rom. 8:2.For there cannot be a vacuum.
EARLY MEN AND DEATH
When man was sent out of the presence of God- Eden (Lucifer lived in Eden before he fell), he died. Remember God said, the day you eat of this tree, you shall die.Gen.2:16
Did Adam Died that Day?
Yes, he did. Adam died immediately spiritually and he died physically towards the end of that day. How? A day in Eden is like 1,000 years outside it.PS.90:4, 2Pet. 3:8.
The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil
The kind of knowledge produced by this tree makes you to be able to differentiate between what is right and wrong but you are only empowered to do wrong. ROM. 7:14-25. Thank God that man was sent out of Eden. If Adam had partaken of the Tree of Life in that fallen state, it would have been impossible to redeem man back to God. Jesus has made it possible for us to eat of the Tree of Life after REDEMPTION.
If you study the book of Genesis, you will see how man's physical existence was reduced to a ridiculously small years due to the growth of the SIN NATURE.
ENOCH AND METHUSELAH
Enoch was an outstanding personality in the history of human existence. He walked with God and partook of ZOE the Life of God so much that he had to leave the scene else, he wouldn't be able to die like other men. Have you ever asked yourself why his son Methuselah was the oldest man in history?
It was because of the things (substance of zoe)that his father taught him that made it possible to live for a day even ahead of Adam. Man's age has fallen to a ridiculous figure. Average Life Expectancy in many African countries is around 40 years.
The Way Out
Jesus came to give us life as opposed to the death (the venom of the Serpent) that is already in our gene.
DOES GOD TAKE PEOPLE TODAY?
People often say God has taken a person especially when the person is a believer. I like to tell you emphatically that it is UNSCRIPTURAL to say so. Enoch was the only one that the Bible record that God took. Even some extra biblical books said the way Enoch left this planet was the same way Elijah and Jesus left; they went to a particular Geographical location from where they were taken up to Heaven.
I submit to you that GOD DOES NOT TAKE PEOPLE FROM THE PLANET. Even if the person that sang Hallelujah Chorus as he journeyed to Paradise, it doesn't mean God was responsible. Jesus says 'I have the power to take my life and take it back'. John 10:18. Everyone that dies does so as a result of ignorance, spiritual weakness, deliberate action or consequence of a wrong doing.
God doesn't take people like a thief in the night. He doesn't overrule your will and kill you. Death is an evil thing and God doesn't do evil. It is better and safer to say 'HE/SHE HAS GONE HOME TO BE WITH THE LORD not God has taken him/her away'. God doesn't use Sicknesses, Diseases, Infirmities, Accidents, Misfortunes, Suicide Bombers, Ritual Killers, Robbers, Spiritual Attacks, Wars, etc as a medium to take his people away. If God were to take people away to Heaven, the Elijah's approach would be preferable. Everybody around Elijah knew he was going away. He didn't die of sickness or one misfortune. Even Moses that God told to go and die, he did so in soundness of health. Deut. 34:7. GOD IS LOVE. He won't come and steal you away.
CHRISTIANITY AND MARTYRDOM
There are some people that believe they are supposed to die before the Gospel can advance in a territory. This is from the truth with no basis in the Scriptures. The last time I checked, I found out you are not Jesus Christ. Why did you think your blood is that powerful to save any man? Some of the early apostles were called to be martyrs while others were killed for the sake of the Gospel even against their will.
Nowadays, I believe some may be called by God to be martyrs while others may CHOOSE to be. If God has not spoken clearly to you that He has called to be suffer and be killed for the sake of the Gospel, then, don't believe you can be killed.
I have not been called as a MARTYR.
I CANNOT DENY THE FAITH NO MATTER WHAT. BUT, I BELIEVE I AM ONE OF THOSE THAT WILL BE PHYSICALLY ON EARTH TO WELCOME JESUS CHRIST WHEN HE COMES. Even if He will come in the next century, I WILL STILL BE VERY MUCH AROUND. This is what I believe and this is what I am going to get.
ZOE AND IMMORTALITY
At New Birth, the indestructible LIFE OF GOD that qualifies us for Heaven has been deposited into our spirits. 1 John 5:11-13. Our spirits are now alive to God and alienated from DEATH.
WHAT IS IMMORTALITY? IMMORTALITY IS WHEN THE ZOE OF GOD IN YOUR SPIRIT FINDS EXPRESSION IN YOUR SOUL AND BODY. I hope you know that sicknesses, diseases, etc are forms of death? If the Life of God gains ascendancy over your body, all the manifestations of death and the AGING PROCESS in your body will be stopped. This was the case with Joshua and Caleb in the 40years that the Israelites wondered in the Wilderness.
THE JOEL 2 ARMY
Joel 2:1-11. The description of this army is nothing short of SUPERNATURAL MEN. These are the men that Jesus will lead to battle against the hordes of Hell and men at Armageddon. They are men
like you and I and not angels. They have been trained in the usage of the SPIRITUAL WEAPONS OF WARFARE. They are immortal. Apostle John pioneered the realm of UNKILLABILITY OF THE BELIEVERS BY THE INFIDELS.
Why was he able to do this? He had more death and insights into ZOE, THE LIFE OF GOD more than everyone else in his days. He was the only writer of the New Testament that declared that ETERNAL LIFE is our present possession as believers. 1 John 5:11-13.
LAST WORD
Heb. 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
From the above passage, one thing is certain, DEATH IS AN APPOINTMENT.
YOU CAN DECIDE WHETHER YOU WILL KEEP IT OR NOT. Selah.
The last enemy to be conquered is death. 1Cor. 15:26, 53-56. The immortality is IN THE FUTURE FOR ALL BELIEVERS BUT, SOME ARE TASTING OF THE POWERS OF THE AGE TO COME BY BRINGING IMMORTALITY TO THE PRESENT. Heb. 6:4-6.
I pray that Eph. 1:17-20. become real in your life. Unto you is given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God.
