WHY GOD WILL PROSPER YOU
Having known that it is God's will to prosper you, then we need to know why God wants to prosper you.
WHY WILL GOD PROSPER YOU?
1. Financial Prosperity causes His Kingdom on Earth to spread. Zech. 1:17 Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
I don't believe the Great Commission (Mk. 16:15,20, Mt. 28:18) can be accomplished without financial and material resources. Barnabas was a financier most of Paul's missionary journeys. Acts 4:36 revealed that his name was Joses. The disciples gave him that name most likely because of his contribution to God's work.
2. It is part of the fulfillment of the dominion mandate given to Adam in Gen. 1:28-30.
3. It helps you to make contribution and register your relevance in the Church and in the world. John 13:28-29, Acts 10:38
You can give to the needy when you are financially buoyant. Mt. 6:3-4, Eph. 4:28
4. It is part of the manifestations of the blessing of God. Gen. 22:17, Pro. 10:22, Mt. 6:33, PS. 112:1,2, Eph. 1:3
5. Money gives you a voice in the Earth. Mt. 27:57-58, Ecl. 9:14-16
6. It gives you the freedom and liberty to fully please God without hindrance and choose good. Isaiah's prophecy concerning Jesus in Is. 7:15 is noteworthy.
7. Poverty is part of the CURSE OF THE LAW that Jesus dealt with. Gen. 3:17-19
8. To establish His covenant and fulfill His promises in our lives. Deut. 8: 6-18, 1Tim. 6:17
NOTE:
God blesses us primarily to fulfill His pleasure. Any money that isn't bringing pleasure to God is a curse. The Israelites were brought forth out of Egypt with silver and gold PS. 105:37. The purpose was not to build a molten calf unto idols (Exo. 32:4) but to build a tabernacle of God in the wilderness. Sardonic to say, many have diverted their money to building molten calfs now and not the Tabernacle of God. God's city and the tentacles of God's dominion in this Earthly realm need to spread everywhere. There are still places where Jesus the Christ has not been known. Join the company of those that have made up their minds to erect the banner of the God of Zion everywhere in this planet.
