Hello everyone, I welcome you to another day in this series. We are still exploring the book of JOEL. We stopped yesterday at the different woes that have befallen the land. We will continue from there.
THE CALL TO PRAY AND DAST
Joel  1:13 Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.
1:14 Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD.
This call to pray concern everyone; the priests, the elders, the drunkards, the husbandmen, the vinedressers and every other persons. Even the beasts of the fields are not left behind.
The pathetic situation described by Prophet Joel is similar to that in many countries globally especially Nigeria.
When appropriate level of intercession has been made, there will always be some ripple effects. It is the intercession that will give birth to what we see in Chapter Two.

CHAPTER TWO
Joel  2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand.

Zion represents 'The City of God' while the day of the Lord as used here can either be a literal day or a figurative day. One of the meanings of the Day of the Lord is the day Jesus will return with the Raptured Saints to this planet. This is still going to happen in the future.
John on the Island of Patmos also spoke of being in the Spirit on the Lord's day. Rev. 1:10

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion. Who are the ones to blow the Trumpet?  It is the WATCHMEN that will blow the Trumpet.
Spiritually, the WATCHMEN are the Prophetic company that God has placed in different locations upon the walls of Zion. They have some incredible insights into God's plan and purposes as well as those of the Devil. Listen, every believer can see but, some can see farther and better than every other person because of their CALLING AND POSITION. This same group of people are those that will remain sensitive and alert till the BRIDEGROOM arrives. They are the ones that will alert the TEN VIRGINS about the arrival of the Bridegroom Mt. 25:5-6.

THE DESCRIPTION OF THE DAY OF THE LORD
A day of darkness and of gloominess.
 A day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains.
It is getting hotter. Let me stop here today. Tomorrow, I will describe the Army.

Holy Spirit 15- The Seven Spirits of God- Part 2

We have established yesterday that the 7 Spirits of God describe the 7 fold distinct manifestation of the Holy Spirit and it also describes the perfection of the Spirit of God. Holy Spirit 8- The symbol of Oil

1 Sam.16:13, Is.61:1,PS.23:5,92:10. The Oil typifies ANOINTING UPON & WITHIN A PERSON. It's an empowerment for God's Service. In the old testament, the anointing comes only on THE PRIESTS, KINGS AND PROPHETS to perform spiritual tasks. The rule hasn't changed now just THAT ALL BELIEVERS have been brought in. The anointing is NOT THAT oil you carry about in the bottle. One man of God in Nigeria once said 'THE ANOINTING IS THE HOLY SPIRIT IN A BOTTLE'. That statement is completely heretical. To appreciate the Oil Dimension of the Holy Spirit, let's look at d making of the HOLY ANOINTING OIL in old testament. Song of Songs 1 vs. 3 'Because of the savour of thy ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee'  Ex. 30 vs. 22-25 THE HOLY ANOINTING OIL as described in Ex. 30 typifies  THE LIFE-GIVING DIMENSION. 1Cor.15:45.
