Hello everyone, welcome to another day in this series. I used Day 15 to answer the questions that one dear lady asked me from Rev.13:8. We stopped at THE FALL OF MAN in Gen. 3. Today, I want to deal with THE MAKING OF MAN.
I want to say ahead of time that this area is one that little teachings have been done in. So, it tends to appear controversial or you may say heretical. I trust that the Divine Spirit will grant me insights into mysteries and grant you understanding as you read.
To enhance your chances of understanding, I will like to start this way and tie everything up in Day 17:
The God Head consisting of the Father, the Word (which later became the Son) and the Holy Spirit are the Fathers of all Creation and created things.
I have explained earlier on in this series that the God Head had been existing in a place NOT HEAVEN that ONLY THEM KNOW. At least Genesis 1 vs. 1 bears me witness. They created the Heavens and Earth. It means they have existed before creating anything.
Also, we think most times that Heaven is God's home. How untrue are we?
Heaven is not intended to be the home of God. Heaven is God's Throne or you can say GOD'S OFFICE PS. 11:4, 103:19, Mt. 5:34, Acts 7:49, Rev. 4:2.
Heaven is the waiting place until the whole plan of God is fully consummated.
The Making of Man
Gen. 1:26-27 says 'And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Some Noteworthy things in these verses:
A. No doubt these verses refer to a discuss among the members of the God Head and many believed that it was God the Father that came up with the idea of 'PROJECT MAN' especially now that this specie of man would be different from that of Genesis 1 vs. 1 Earth.
B. If the statement 'let us make man in our own image...' is true, then, IT MEANS THERE MUST BE AN INPUT FROM THE INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF THE GOD HEAD INTO THIS MAN. Selah- stop and think about it!
The truth is that according to God's design, man is supposed to house and reflect the true nature of the three members of the God Head. This is the reason MAN WAS MADE TO BE A TRIPARTITE BEING; SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY.
These three compartments of man were designed to be able to house and reflect the GodHead.
But sadonic to say, 'Project Man' wasn't completed before Gen 3.
Are you saying that Adam was an incomplete project before the fall? Yes.
What of Gen. 1: 27?
Gen. 1:27 'So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them'.
This is like writing the abstract of a project; declaring the end from the beginning.
One thing you should know is that the first chapter of Genesis mostly described things that happened spiritually. You will understand this when you read Genesis 2 vs 4 downward.
Gen. 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil'
Did you understand what I said now?
Did you noticed that most of what Genesis chapter 1 declared as done were nowhere to be found in Chapter 2 and they had to be formed?
Also notice the change in the name of God used in Chapter One and Chapter Two. Chapter One uses 'God- Elohim' whereas in Chapter Two, it is 'Lord God -Yahweh Elohim'. Yahweh Elohim is the Pre-incanate name of Jesus; the name He bore before coming to die for humanity. Remember that 'the more excellent Name than the angels' Jesus received after resurrection is 'LORD'. Phil 2: 9-11, Heb. 1:4.
Elohim created EVERYTHING IN GENESIS One. Yahweh Elohim FORMED (YATSAH- bringing sodmething out of a physically existing materials) everything we see in Genesis Chapter Two. So, it means it is Yahweh Elohim that gave the shape of the body of man and other created things.
WHERE WAS THE HOLY GHOST IN ALL OF THESE?
We will continue here tomorrow.
