Hello everyone, welcome to another day in this series. I said yesterday that the PROJECT MAN was not complete before man fell in Genesis 3. This audacious statement has generated some controversies among the readers. Because of this, I am going to start again and I will take still further. Adam wasn't complete before the fall. I will go over my points again.
I already said in this series that the God Head were already in existence before creating the Heavens and the Earth. I also said that Heaven is not the Home of God. Rather, the Third Heaven is God's Throne/Office. The eternal goal of God is that ONE DAY, MAN WILL BE HIS HOST; MAN WILL BE THE HOUSE THAT THE GOD HEAD WILL DWELL. Is. 66 vs. 1-2, 1Cor. 3:16-17, 6:15-20, 12: 12-27, Eph. 2:22, 5:30, and many others. I am still coming back to this.
Let us revisit Gen. 1 vs 26-27.
1. In Genesis 1 vs. 26, God the Father spoke to the remaining members of the God Head about MAKING ANOTHER MAN IN THEIR OWN (THREE OF THEM) IMAGE AND LIKENESS. It means this man MUST BE IN THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD THE FATHER, WORD (WHICH LATER BECAME THE SON) AND THE HOLY GHOST. This is the reason Man was made to have three compartments; spirit, soul and body.
The question is this, was Adam in the image and likeness of the three of them? I don't know about you but my answer is a big NO! My reasons will be unveiled as we proceed.
2. If you notice in Genesis chapter 1, apart from Vs. 2 where Ruach Elohim (Holy Spirit) was used, the word 'God (Elohim)' was used throughout that chapter. But in chapter 2, especially from Vs. 4 notice that the word changed to 'LORD God (Yahweh Elohim)'. Yahweh Elohim is the name of 'GOD THE WORD who later became THE SON'. Every time, the name 'The LORD GOD' appears in the Bible, it refers to THE SECOND PERSON IN THE TRINITY. Remember that Jesus Christ (The Word made Flesh) has now been made LORD OF ALL (HEIR, RIGHTFUL OWNER OF ALL THINGS).
Yahweh Elohim was responsible for the forming of the physical body of man and other created things that picked up material tangibility in Gen. 2.

Having said this, the question is this, was Adam a complete reflection of the image and likeness of the Three members of the God Head? I don't believe so. Someone said how can you say this? Have you thought about the extraordinary feat Adam accomplished when he named all the animals? To be candid, that is matchless! But, that is not enough reason to say that Adam was complete.
WHAT IS MY DEFINITION OF COMPLETE?
My definition of 'complete' is derived from Gen. 1:26. It means MAN is supposed to bear and reflect the image and likeness of the THREE MEMBERS OF THE GOD-HEAD.
Having gotten the understanding of what the COMPLETE MAN should be, let us now explore
WHAT ADAM HAD AND WHAT WAS MISSING.
1. Adam was a spirit just like the God head.
2. Adam was created (Bara-Hebrew: to bring something out of a non physically existing material) in Genesis 1:27. His body was formed (Yatsah-Hebrew: to bring something out of a physically existing material).
What happened in Gen. 2 vs 7?
Some thought it was 'The Life of God (Zoe) that God breathed into Adam. If you are part of those people, your conclusion is very untrue!
Adam didn't have 'The Life of God'. Gen. 2:7 gave insight into how the 'spirit of man' that was created in Gen. 1:27 was TRANSFERRED into this 'clay like lifeless body from the dust of the ground'. Selah!
Let me stop here tonight and continue tomorrow.
God bless you!
