INSTRUCTION AND OBEDIENCE (Part1)
What is Instruction?
“ Instruction is a command or an order given to a person mostly by a person in the place of authority. It is also a detailed information about how something should be done or operated”.
To us as believers Instruction is given to us out of love of the Father to us because it is part of his intention for creating man so that he can lead and man will follow. As a matter of fact God does not create anything that will not yield to his voice and that is why he could call them forth at creation and they were obeying by coming into being. May God give you understanding!
As believers, Instruction from God should be what we live on daily if truly we are his sheep and hears his voice. Jn10:4 “And when he putteth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
God’s aim for giving instruction is for building and sharpening
Jn 15:5-7, 5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do anything.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered, and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you”
Divine instruction is full of information that ordinary human mind cannot even think of or imagine, when God spoke to Abraham in Gen. 12:1-3 ordinarily Abraham’s mind can never think of all those things God told him, that is the extent God’s instruction can be
I am not trying to make it look like it is difficult but what I am trying to pass across is that our daily life and walk should be placed or presented before him because he is in the best position to tell how the day is going to look like and he will guide us by giving instructions or words that will make the day fruitful.
By God’s grace part 2 will be focusing on what are the benefits of obeying instruction (Obedience).
