INSTRUCTION AND OBEDIENCE (Part 2)

Good day Readers I welcome you to Instruction and Obedience Part 2.
As it has been established from Part 1 of this post that ‘Instruction is a command or an order given to a person mostly by a person in the place of authority. It is also a detailed information about how something should be done or operated’.

Now let’s focus on what benefit we can derive from obeying Gods instruction:
Yielding to Instruction is key as a Christian because it is the only thing that help navigate our life into the right path. The problem now is how many people listen or even yield to instructions 1Sam.15 when the word of the Lord came to anoint Saul as the king over Israel by Samuel…this action is birthed by instruction and it was to be carried out according to Gods instruction.
…Now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the Lord… he was instructed to smote the amalekites but in his own personal will he felt it is of no need so he decided to spare some but in vs11 the Lord said to Samuel …It repented me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments… God was grieved that he anointed Saul as the King because he failed by not obeying his Instructions.

There are benefits that comes with obeying God and these was clearly stated Deut.6vs1-3, prov.3vs1 …My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2 for length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them around thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4. So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man
5. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
11…My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his corrections…

Most times Gods instructions might not be palatable and this is because he is God and the way he sees is not the same as ours. He knows far beyond us but trust me what he has for us at the end is always glorious remember Jer. 29vs11 …For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Gods instruction is full of divine benefits hearken unto his leadings and you shall see your ways prosperous.
Shalom.

Prayer of Enquiry

PRAYER OF ENQUIRY Prayer is a well established and accepted doctrine in all denominations of the body of Christ. Although, there are differences in our modes of prayer, we all believe in the efficacy of lifting up our voice to God to hear our requests and answer them. As much as we do a lot of this, we don't take the full advantage of it as children of God. We would rather worry and think things through rather than calling on God for help. This can be due to lack of faith in the power of God or being slothful in prayers. Apart from the aforementioned factors that prevent us from enjoying the efficacy of prayers, one key factor that prayer hinges on is praying correctly. To pray correctly simply means to pray according to the will of God. It is easy to know the will of God about sickness and poverty because they are expressly written in bible, but even at this, we still do not get answers when we pray. What you might be missing out may be a simple enquiry. The prayer ...

Holy Spirit 15- The Seven Spirits of God- Part 2

We have established yesterday that the 7 Spirits of God describe the 7 fold distinct manifestation of the Holy Spirit and it also describes the perfection of the Spirit of God. The answer to yesterday's quiz is: when God stepped into the matter in Eden, the 7 persons brought by the number 7 are: Adam, Eve, Physical Serpent, spiritual Serpent (the Devil), the Seed of the Woman (Jesus the Christ), the seed of the spiritual serpent (Antichrist) and God Himself . Re- read Day 14 to know how this fit in. Today's Broadcast 2. THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM Is. 11:2, Eph. 1:17 This is the Spirit that reveals to you the PLANS AND PURPOSES OF GOD CONCERNING YOUR LIFE, A MATTER, PLACE, etc. If you will ever know why you are on earth, you need the operation of the Spirit of Wisdom. He reveals EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING about the future. There are 3 prominent Greek words used for Wisdom relevant to our subject; SOPHIA, SUNESIS and PHRONESIS. A. SOPHIA describes the entire wisdom of God. T...

Holy Spirit 4- The Symbol of Dove

Mt. 3:16, Mk. 1:10. This typifies the harmless and gentle nature of God the Holy Spirit. He neither FORCE NOR FUSS ANYONE. It is only the Devil that force people and even afflict them without their consent. The Holy Spirit IS NOT a dove; He created the dove. Luke 3:22 says 'the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form like a dove upon Him'. Many have wrongly interpreted this verse and that's why many church logos have the dove as an integral part of it. You need to know that the church can NEVER COME INTO HER FULL POTENTIAL AND RELEVANCE ON THE EARTH UNTIL SHE KNOWS (knowledge with participation-Greek EPIGNOSIS) the Holy Spirit. The person that designed the handbill for EPIGNOSIS Nite had already put a Dove there to represent 'the Holy Spirit'. I told him to remove it. The symbols in most cases are already becoming an idol in many people's hearts and rather than for many to think of the Holy Spirit as a person, they think of Him as a dove/fire/wind,etc. T...
