Hello everyone, I want to believe your day has been splendid? We are still talking about TONGUES.
I said yesterday that the best way to pray about any matter is to PRAY IN TONGUES. Many times, there is more than what you know about a particular thing.
 Even James says we pray and don't get answer because we pray amiss. James 4:3.
The Bible says the Spirit searcheth ALL THINGS; YEA, THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD. 1 Cor. 2:10.

 Rom. 8: 27 says HE SEARCHETH THE HEARTS..The Holy Spirit searches out all things. The meaning is that the Holy Spirit is VERY CURRENT-He is constantly getting new updates from all of God's creation. He makes these updates that is relevant to the focus of your prayer available to you when you pray.

In Act 1:8, Jesus made a promise of power for witness (PROOF PRODUCERS) after the Holy Ghost is come. But, on the day of Pentecost, we saw the Disciples speak in tongues.  You should know that there is a connection between SPEAKING IN TONGUES AND POWER.
Jesus returned from the 40 days fasting and prayers in POWER OF THE SPIRIT AND HIS FAME WENT ABROAD. Luke 4:14.
In Acts 6, the early Church needed to expand their structures because of increased population. You know the story. The apostles said they will commit themselves to the ministry of the Word and Prayer. Stephen was part of those that they chose. If you read carefully, you will notice that Stephen was differentiated from others as you read down the chapter. Most likely, he must have added the APOSTOLIC MENU OF WORD AND PRAYER TO HIS SERVING TABLE MINISTRY.

 Listen, NOT EVERYTHING IN GOD'S KINGDOM IS A GIFT. Some things are reward of faithfulness to spiritual principles. Listen, power is not a reward. You can have the Holy Ghost and not have power. The Holy Ghost in you functions as a potential    energy. It is the MINISTRY OF THE WORD AND PRAYERS that turns the Potential Energy to Kinetic Energy. Let me say this to you:

CONSISTENCY IN PRAYER AND THE WORD ARE THE KEYS TO POWER GENERATION.
Pray in tongues for at least one hour everyday. Though, some people believe that is for the Kindergarten Section in the body of Christ. At least, start from there and you can increase the time as you progress.

Speaking in tongues help to bring our tongues under subjection. James in his third chapter did an expository teaching on THE TONGUE. He qualified the tongues with many words; an unruly evil, a fire, a world of iniquity, can defile the whole body, etc. Yet God decided to choose this part of us called 'an unruly evil and  put His bits there. He chose this part of us said to be 'full of deadly poison' to do His good pleasures. Speaking in tongues help to bring our bodies in subjection to our spirits inhabited by the Holy Spirit. We stay away from every form of contaminations and sins that easily besets us when we spend some good times praying in tongues. I have discovered experientially that the more you pray in tongues, the more difficult it becomes for curses, abusive words, vulgar jokes, etc to come out of your mouth. It will dawn on you more than ever before that your body is the temple of the living God and the Spirit dwells in you. You will know that you have a God-given responsibility to glorify God in your mortal bodies.

He is responsible for bringing the necessary and the God- kind of knowledge and information that God deem fit for us to know to us. 1Jn  2:20 says But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. It means all information are at our disposal. But, the fact that all the information are at our disposal doesn't mean we practically know all things. You can have the most advanced dictionary on your table and still not know the meaning of a word. There is the need for SEARCHING. The Psalmist says in Psalm  77:6,  I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search. However, there are 3 prominent words used for 'knowledge' relevant to our study; GINOSKO, OIDA/EIDO and EPIGNOSIS. GINOSKO- it depicts the commencement of the process of knowledge.
