THE PLANET EARTH BEFORE ADAM DAY 21

Hello everyone, I welcome you in the name of Him who is, who was and who is to come to another day in this series. Yesterday, I talked about the humanity of Jesus and how He is the prototype of who man should be. Let me conclude on 'Project Man' so that I can go into something else. I have talked about the Divinity and Humanity of Jesus. The balance to this thing is this: JESUS NEVER OPERATED GOD. HE OPERATED 100% AS A MAN. I am going to prove this: A. Apostle Paul told us in Phi. 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:  2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:  2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross'. It means HE DIDN'T COME TO FUNCTION ON EARTH AS A GOD BUT AS MAN. 2. John 17:5 says 'And now, O Father, gl...

THE COLD WAR IN THE PRESENT DAY CHURCH

There is a cold war going on among the superpowers in the Body of Christ; those that weird enormous influence in the Body of Christ in this country. It is a battle for supremacy. I advice you not to join in this fight. Why? If two elephants fight, na the grasses wey dey there go suffer am pass. Laugh! Also, you may not be there the day they will settle their fight. Paul, in 1 Cor. 3 called those that queued behind different ministers in a divisional perspective BABE; immature, GREEK-NEPIOUS. All these 'we are the sons of so and so, therefore, we cannot listen to or attend the meeting of that Pastor/Apostle, our father's enemy is also our enemy, etc should cease in 2020.  Listen, be opened to receive and drink from different streams but, DRINK RESPONSIBLY. Don't swallow everything hook, line and sinker. Except God has given you strict instructions, watch before you park behind anyone and when you have done so, a. Don't follow dogmatically. Learn to sieve before y...

Yes or No SYNDROME

Yes or No SYNDROME I met Chinye in high school, we started relating after our second year due to her academic performance and as a result, she was fondly praised by lecturers and colleagues. I got jealoused of this and I really want to know the secret behind her brilliancy and all the mind blowing results. I summoned strength to walk up to her to learn or probably improve on my learning skills. On getting to her I humbly presented myself as she is this simple fellow but not always afraid to talk you out if you behave anyhow and besides so that she will see the seriousness in me and how deliberate I was. I explained myself and truly she has all the listening ears to my jargon and after all the explanations she smiled and asked in a low toned voice "Is that all?" I quickly said yes but I was wondering about her smile what is making her smiling in all that I have said I thought... She brought me back from my thought and asked ' Do you know that everything about us d...

WHY SHOULD I KEEP MUTE?

WHY SHOULD I KEEP MUTE?                                  Lola, why are you always doing all these talking when the person you are talking to is not giving you attention, in fact he always look at you pitifully, can't you just leave him alone! and let us continue praying for him?! This was my friend we use to do evangelism together telling me to leave a particular guy we have been trusting God to convince... I replied and bring to her remembrance what Rom10:17 says 'So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God'... I believed God is at work in him  Hmmm...Joy, I've been having this particular thought over time and the word Jesus spoke in Mark 28:19-20 makes me understand that at this time, our quietness is no longer required we need to birth forth our being we need to reveal what we are made of we need to let the world see the reas...

Proposal Palava

Proposal Palava Should I involve God while proposing? As a freshman in College, I saw two categories of Christians on Campus. One group was a people I could describe as the “Grace Junkies” while the other category were people who were consecrated in their outward appearance. In my mind, I felt the seemingly consecrated group has the true Christians as I thought that the two groups cannot be right. It has to be either of them. The groups disagreed on several doctrinal matters especially on how the outward appearance of a Christian should look like. Well, it’s not just my campus that has this setting; it has actually developed into a tool dividing the body of Christ. Through my journey on the campus, I found myself jumping from one end of the rope to the other end until I found a very instructive post on Facebook by Rick Joyner where He said that the heresies in the church are as a result of a lack of the knowledge of the counterbalancing truths of some truths. Involving God...

A Great Lesson My Boss Taught Me

Sometimes ago, I attended a meeting where I met a white man. He is the type of man that ladies would describe as tall, dark and handsome. From my judgment, he would either be a military officer or someone who is very concerned about his body shape. He is quite tall and his wide chest was almost making me to despise the little beginnings above my tommy. I was already sitting before he came in and as soon as the ushers spotted him, they led him to the front seat. Before long, he was called to the podium to speak and he said he will tell us “a great lesson his boss taught him”. “The story of my life changed when I met a man. At that time, he was a fugitive, wanted by every law enforcement agency. He was charged with felony and instead of turning himself in, he took to the mountains. I was discontented with my life at that time and I got to know that people in my state were going to join this rebel in the mountains. My boss was a national hero before he was charged with felony”. ...

Uncovering the Covered

Uncovering the Covered I was raped and battered by those people I called loved ones leaving me to zero confidence. I felt neglected and unloved nobody cared about whatever I’m going through, the emotional trauma was just too much that I couldn’t stand my peers because I was downgraded that competing favorably was the most difficult thing I could do but it got to a time I said to myself I cannot continue like this and I promised my heart that I am the voice that the world is waiting for and I’m going to make it heard. I buried the burden to myself and God and with the help of God I could scaled through. I took all blame on myself and I started from the scratch though nobody could help but I confess it to myself that no matter what I am going to make it and be the answer to many people’s prayer     My past is not worth leaving for because I have all the reason to fail but I choose not to because I have seen it a lot and failing again is not even part of it so through the ...

Visiting Prophets: Good or Bad?

Visiting prophets is a culture that used to be very common in the church, however it is becoming an old fashioned idea as the church, on a corporate level is growing in the knowledge of God. Some denominations do not celebrate the gift of the prophet as some other denominations. Those that celebrate the gift tend to visit prophets more than those that do not celebrate this very important gift in the body of Christ. Mostly, when a believer visits a prophet, he seeks solution to a challenge that he doesn't know the way out from, so in the manner of the African religion where you consult an oracle to know the solution of a challenge, believers also visit prophets for the same reason. A prophet is simply a believer that has given himself to learning God's voice accurately which means that the dimension of the prophetic is not reserved for a people. Every believer must have a level of the prophetic at work in his life. We must all be prophets, especially in this last days....

CAN I WAIT?

CAN I WAIT? What does the word of God says about WAITING?  Waiting is a period of time when you earnestly hope for something, something you desired so much and you couldn’t wait to have it to yourself. The only thing that still remains constant and certain is that no matter how you tried to pull it never will it look like the original that God has planned for you remember this verse Jer.29:11 Amp- For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Waiting is the period when you know your stand whether or not your confession of Faith is genuine or not, even if you are pressed to compromise or you are easily deceived or carried away by the most little things you have once said no to. One thing is that I am very sure that Hannah must have been advised by many people to probably stop praying or to return from the Lord even though she don’t know when it will c...

Managing Accusations Against Christian Leaders

In recent times, we have seen many things show up on the social media about Pastors and church leaders and there have been many reactions ranging from the good ones to the very terrible ones. In all of this, the bible admonishes us that wisdom is the principal thing. As believers, we must have a reaction that is aligned with the scriptures as our social media activities are part of the things we will give account for. So, how should you react when you see an accusation against a believer on the internet? The bible calls us to stand only with the truth, however, when you are privileged to know the truth about the situation, how should you react to such things? Paul shares with his protégé and youthful pastor- Timothy on how to handle accusations among believers. Firstly, he says that Timothy must not address an elderly person harshly. Take note that Timothy was the Pastor of the church, but he was still not supposed to address an elderly man harshly. For him to have a reason to ...

Creating your luck part 2

Creating your luck part 2 Let's finish up the concluding part of the article 'creating your own luck' Another rule i will be discussing is  TAKING A CHANCE. If you have positioned yourself in such a way that you know opportunities that fly around, the there is possibility that you will find something you can do. Considering this, a lot will find it hard to see what they can do because they are not thinking out of the box. Let this be in your mind; 'anywhere you see people, there is money. Look out for what you can offer in exchange for the money in their possession.  For instance, an IT personnel might need to see outside opportunities coming from the ICT industry, this is why you should take advantage of any knowledge that comes around your way, they will be useful someday.  I currently serve in Edo state, but there are few or no ICT opportunities in the state. However, I still make some money from house painting. I didn't learn the skill profess...

God Does Not Speak English!

God Does Not Speak English! How to hear God's voice is one of the most frequently asked questions by Christians. One can be very perturbed until one hears the voice of the Lord over a situation. Hearing God's voice is the right of every Christian, but very few enjoy this great benefit of salvation. Many Christians have fallen into the hands of false prophets who claim to have heard God for them. Firstly, you must know that God is willing to speak to you more than you are willing to hear God's voice. A very comforting chapter in the gospel of John is the 10th chapter. John tells us that every sheep of the Lord knows the voice of God. It can be quite hard to believe that every Christian knows God's voice as that chapter asserts, but it is very true that every christian knows God's voice, however, very few Christians know that the voice they have been hearing belongs to God. We have all been hearing God's voice, but because we do not know that the voic...

Disappointing Prayer

Disappointing Prayer I wondered what gave birth to this wide smile that has invaded her entire beautiful face. My mind really wanted to wander, but I had to cage it and focus on the cause of the smile rather than the charming smile. The last expression I saw from her face was that of a very bewildered and disappointed person. I could even say that she was angry. Here she is, in front of my desk in less than 24 hours smiling from east to west. Did her cheeks increase over night? 'Please, I want to know your God'. The statement excited me completely because I now understand why she was smiling. It means the prayer was answered and as much as I wasn't surprised, I was very grateful to God for showing up even after a disappointing prayer. I could remember how she sat in front of my desk a day before and waited for me to finish my day's work before we moved to a restaurant where she insisted that she buy the drink. She bought two bottles of cold Mirinda, but...

Light Travels Light

Good day readers. Let's talk about going farther when the direction is right and at a good pace. A truck was designed to carry just a tonne in terms of weight so as to cover a distance of 60 kilometers in an hour. Unknown to the driver, the truck was loaded with a tonne and half. The driver starts moving and ended the trip in two hours. A lot of times after so much thought, we realize we should have moved father than where we are and we start wondering why we are still where we are. At times, some of us blame God.God is ever faithful, Abraham judged God faithful. There are things that holds you down from moving at God's pace, they are called 'WEIGHTS'. In pastor Bayo Akintade's teachings, he said 'Light travels fastest because it travels light' chai! Light has no extra weight it carries while traveling. Light does not force itself through a medium that does not allow its passage. You have to know what capacity you are provided with and don't o...
